Walter Roberts

Highly relevant academic background (MA (Cantab.) Engineering and
Law) and a proven ability to integrate in technical teams. Strong
record in Commercial and Legal Management.
Successful principal of the London office of an international law
practice since 1996. Non-Executive Director of a number of oil and
gas exploration and also service companies.

Kevin Sylvester |
Senior geological consultant with over 40 years of industry experience who has worked on a broad range of technical and commercial projects world-wide. Since 1999 worked as a subsurface specialist and project leader for various Pinnacle clients including reservoir characterisation studies, field development plans, reserves determinations, regional exploration and basin studies, M&A evaluations and being an independent expert witness in an international litigation arbitration case in Stockholm. Recent work flow has been focussed in UK, Europe, FSU, West Africa, North Africa, Guyana, Middle East and Falkland Islands.
Prior to Pinnacle Energy employment history included working for major and large independent international E&P companies and establishing a number of successful international consultancy businesses. Past positions held included: Senior Development and Exploration Geologist, Development Co-ordinator, Asset Area Manager and Production Development Manager.
Professional accreditation includes MSc Engineering Geology, BSc Geology, AAPG Certified Geologist, UK Oil and Gas Arbritation Club, membership to several professional societies and author and presenter of published papers and work.
Applied expertise in all disciplines related to exploration, appraisal and development projects. Onshore and offshore well site operations experience including management role as Operator for drilling and well testing campaigns. A commercial adeptness and the ability to solve difficult problems on a timely basis under strict budgetary controls provided an added strength to past project teams.
Employs a ‘hands-on’ approach and gives leadership and passion to succeed in joint project study groups and multidisciplinary teams. Knows the importance of and exercises up to date communication skills with well developed business presentation abilities. Very experienced and comfortable in giving presentations to senior corporate managements, foreign State Oil Companies, joint venture partnership groups, governmental licensing and regulatory agencies, investor group forums and presenting at professional society conferences.

Robert Wallace
|

Sea upstream experience with technical, commercial & management
skills. Track record of planning and executing complex and expensive
projects within tough cost and time constraints using minimal resources.
Geoscience background (Msc Geophysics, Chartered Geologist, Chartered
Scientist) with experience of seismic acquisition, processing and
interpretation and co-ordination of all aspects of sub surface work.
Later experience in all aspects of appraisal, development & production
projects, commercial negotiation and corporate issues in the North
Sea, Europe, USA, S. America, Asia & Russia.
Experienced supervisor, manager and enthusiastic motivator of people
in varied cultural contexts. Good communicator both up and down the
organisation structure. Ability to rapidly identify critical issues,
develop a plan, presenting results at CEO level.
Positions held include Senior Geophysicist, Asset Manager, and Technical

including carbonates, deepwater clastics, and complex structural and salt tectonics. With advanced proficiency in seismic interpretation, play fairway analysis, and resource estimation,
Laura is known for her ability at presenting complex geological concepts to a wide array of stakeholders, including high-level executives and government bodies.
She has demonstrated a deep ability to lead and collaborate effectively across teams, driving the integration of geological insights to support key decisions and business opportunities.
Laura’s diverse career includes significant contributions to energy intelligence, where she has authored influential reports on exploration trends, geological analysis,
and low-carbon energy strategies. Throughout her career, Laura has led and contributed to a range of significant exploration projects, including coordinating and editing a comprehensive
scientific report on the oil source rock potential and basin modelling of the Mid North Sea High. Additionally, her consultancy experience includes providing geological risk assessments,
exploration analysis, and data-driven recommendations for key energy players. She has worked on licensing rounds, field development strategies, and energy transition initiatives, consistently
delivering high-quality insights and strategic recommendations across multiple regions.
Laura holds a Distinction in MSc Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London, where she received multiple accolades, including Best MSc Project Prize, Course Director’s
Commendation Prize, and won sponsorship by the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB). She also holds a BSc in Geological Sciences from the University of Leeds. Additionally,
Laura is certified in Carbon Capture and Storage (CCSx) from the University of Edinburgh and maintains active memberships with Geoscience Energy Society of Great Britain (GESGB), the Geological
Society, and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). With a passion for advancing sustainable energy solutions, she remains at the forefront of energy exploration,
continually developing her expertise to address the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the industry.
